Taking Backyard Pizza to the Next Level…

Faced with the challenge of developing a product that would allow users to cook a perfect Neapolitan-style pizza at 900 degrees on a Spark grill, I conducted market research, collaborated with professional pizzaiolos, led cross-disciplinary teams, tested extensively, and roadmapped diligently to design and launch a simple and elegant product that provided an exceptional user experience. The Pizza Pack was well received by publications such as Forbes and Epicurious and solidified Spark's position as one of the most versatile grills on the market.

This project was a unique opportunity to lead the development of a product as both a product manager and a lead design engineer. Not only did I hone my skills in those disciplines, but I also had the opportunity to create marketing content, establish price models, and organize warehouse logistics.

The manufacturing processes used for these products include: sheet metal deep draw, anodizing, injection molding, ceramic molding, and packaging design.
