Spark Control Dial Redesign

The control dial was one of the most expensive subsystems in the Spark Grill. By simplifying and consolidating this complex electromechanical assembly, I reduced the cost of this product by 51%, improved the serviceability of the Spark Grill, and created a more elegant user interface with the grill’s primary touchpoint.

This product was my first exposure to two-shot injection molding, die casting, optics, and pad printing.
