Spark Grill Cover

The grill cover was my introduction into the world of soft goods design. The beautiful, mid-century modern design of the Spark Grill was often a statement piece to the backyards of many customers. We wanted to preserve that style and design, even when the grill was covered.

After cutting and stitching together prototypes, consulting with our industrial designer, rigorously testing materials in different environments, and collaborating with a local pattern maker, I was able to deliver a one-in-a-kind cover to customers that protected the Spark Grill in extreme environments, while still maintaining the aesthetics of the grill.
